Terms & Conditions

All of our services are subject to the following conditions, unless otherwise changed or supplemented by a written agreement.

 

Quotations

​

Our Quotations are limited in time. This limitation complies with the legal rules or details contained in specific quotations. Our quotations are confidential and only persons effectively entrusted with the matter may have access thereto.

 

Prices and Orders

​

All Prices on our price lists and brochures are non-binding; the prices on quotes are binding.

The prices indicated are valid for payment by bank or postal transfer. For payments by credit cards (Visa, Mastercard or American Express), a commission of 5% is charged unless otherwise agreed.

 

The acceptance and performance of orders can depend on a solvency check or a pre-payment.

In case of order cancellation, a percentage of the total amount will be charged to cover handling and administration fees unless otherwise agreed as follows:

 

Cancellation Policy

​

In case of cancellation or re-booking for ALL categories: Driver is already on the way to the pick-up location and/or less than 12 hours remains until the start of the journey the full fare is to be charged.


Cancellation fees for limousines and mini vans (up to max. 6/7 seats) - If the period between the cancellation or postponement and the booked journey is less than 24hours, the cancellation fee is 50% of the agreed amount of the booking.

Cancellation charges for minibuses (up to max. 19 seats) - If the period between the cancellation or postponement and the booked journey is less than 48 hours, the cancellation fee is 100% of the agreed amount of the booking.

Cancellation charges for minibuses, coaches and VIP coaches (from 21 seats upwards) - If the period between the cancellation or postponement and the booked journey is between 3 and 5 days, the cancellation fee is 50% of the agreed amount of the booking. If the period between the cancellation or postponement and the booked journey is less than 3 days, the cancellation fee is 100% of the agreed amount of the booking. 

 

NOTE: Cancellation policy stated above are not valid during:

Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, SIHH (Watch & Wonders) annual show in Geneva, Annual Geneva Motorshow, Basel World, Art Basel & Ebace, specific cancelation policies will apply and will be presented in the quotation during these times.

 

Pickup instructions

Airport pickup for commercial flights, Geneva & Zurich - Our driver will meet the passenger(s) in the arrivals terminal. If unable to locate the driver, please call us on +41 22 518 29 02.

 

Private jet pickup

Our driver will meet the passenger(s) at the assigned FBO. Tail N° / Flight N° will be needed to track the aircraft, if not provided, the rate will incur waiting time until the aircraft arrives.


All other locations - Our driver will meet the passenger(s) at the given pickup address. If unable to locate your driver, please call us on +41 22 518 29 02. 

 

Waiting time

Commercial Airport-pick-ups: 44 minutes included

Private jet pickups: 20 minutes included

Other locations: 15 minutes included

Thereafter the waiting time is charged 100% of hourly rate agreed. In order to avoid a no-show fee, passengers should not leave designated meeting locations without notifying S8 Global, at +41 22 518 29 02.

 

Driver's duty times

The drivers have a maximum duty time of 15 hours, a maximum driving time of 9 hours and a minimum rest time of 11 hours per day (in rare occasions it can be reduced to a minimum of 9 hours). These are legal requirements and monitored by Swiss law enforcement officers regularly , which are observed for customers´ safety. If necessary, S8 Global may have to assign a second driver to the trip, with associated expenses. The price of this will be based on the second driver's duties and the distances involved. 

 

Luggage Policy

S8 Global is not responsible for lost or damaged items left in the vehicles. S8 Global reserves the right to charge a delivery fee for returning lost items if found.

 

Liability

​

S8 Global S.A has no responsibility or liability to the customer for late arrival caused by (but not limited to) acts of nature, traffic delays, breakdown, incorrect pick-up and drop-off information, and any situation beyond our control (force majeure).

 

Payment Terms

​

Payment must be made by either bank transfer or by credit card, no later than 30 days after order fulfilment.

S8 Global S.A reserves the right to request a different payment method. The withholding of payments or offsetting of any counterclaims of the customer that are disputed by S8 Global S.A shall not be permissible.

 

Jurisdiction

​

Any disputes are solely subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is in the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland. S8 Global will always endeavour to resolve any differences amicably and by mutual agreement with the customer.
